Haskovo

Haskovo is located on the banks of the Haskovska River among the Haskovo Hills at the foothills of the eastern Rhodopes. 225 km from the capital Sofia, 75 km from Plovdiv and is one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria dating back to Neolithic times.

Visitors are mainly attracted to the curative mineral springs and the picturesque Kenana Park - a splendid oak forest with restaurants and sports facilities. Other tourist attractions are the remains of an ancient fortress, monuments and museums.

Haskovo has a lot of cafes and restaurants offering traditional Bulgarian food and a lively nightclub scene.
