Pazardzhik

Pazardzhik is a rich agricultural region situated in southern central Bulgaria in the Upper Thracian Valley along the two banks of the Maritsa River. It is 114 km south east of the capital Sofia, 36 km west of Plovdiv and 20 km north of Peshtera.

During the warmer season there is a feel of European café society in the many pedestrian squares located in the town where you can stroll around shopping and relax in one of the many cafes.

Places of interest in the town are the St Virgin Mary cathedral which is the largest renaissance church in Bulgaria and home to the most impressive icons in Bulgaria , History Museums and the Clock Tower.
