Sliven

Sliven is located in the south eastern part of Bulgaria in the Balkan plain, 279 km east of the capital Sofia, 114 km west of Bourgas and 126 km from Varna. The town is growing fast due to its close proximity to the Black Sea coast and the markets of Turkey and Greece.

The town is situated at the foot of the Sliven Mountain near to the Blue Rocks National Park which is a region rich in rock and cave formations, beautiful waterfalls and close to mineral springs with their acclaimed health benefits. The park also offers opportunites for mountain climbing, boating and hiking. Sliven has numerous museums, galleries and a variety of restaurants and pubs in the region.
