Vratsa

Located approx 112 km away from the capital Sofia, Vratsa is situated in the north-west of Bulgaria at the foot of the Balkan Range mountains and forms part of one of the largest natural parks in Bulgaria.

The town is a favourite place for rock climbers and tourists as it is one of the richest regions of Karsts formations in Bulgaria. The Ledenika Cave located 16km southwest of the town is a famous tourist attraction as it is the biggest of all the caves in this region.

With its natural features, the mountains and forests offer the ideal location for hiking, fishing etc and winter sports such as skiing and with its fresh mountain air it is an ideal place for camping.
